That's a Wrap on ACRO 2024!
The Radiation Oncology Summit: ACRO 2024 took place last week in Orlando with physicians, residents, medical students, radiation oncology practice leaders, and industry representatives in attendance. On behalf our ACRO Education Chair Dr. Steven Finkelstein, editor of RadOnc Weekly, we send a thank you to everyone who had a hand in organizing, planning, and speaking at this year’s event. Congratulations to our Lifetime Achievement Award winner Dr. Gregory Cotter, our newly inducted ACRO Fellows Drs. Mani Akhtari, Sushil Beriwal, William E. Decker, Edward Lee, Shannon MacDonald, Adrianna Henson Masters, Hina Saeed, and Michael Yunes, and to all of our award and grant winners. We’d also like to send a special thank you to our Dr. Luther Brady Lecturers Drs. Nina Wendling and Tim Williams, and our Future of Cancer Care panelists Drs. Iris Gibbs, Dwight Heron, Sameer Keole, Laeton Pang, and David Penberthy.
