New Clinic at Florida Cancer Affiliates Helps Patients Understand Elevated PSA Levels

In a recent Medical Monday feature on News Channel 7, Dr. Brian Center, radiation oncologist at Florida Cancer Affiliates, explained that elevated PSA levels can be caused by several conditions, including prostate inflammation, infections, and noncancerous prostate enlargement.
The Florida Cancer Affiliates Elevated PSA Evaluation Clinic allows primary care providers to refer men for further evaluation. Using advanced testing and imaging, specialists can better determine whether an elevated PSA is a sign of prostate cancer and if additional testing or treatment is needed.
